Recovery Classes Now At Parisi Franklin Lakes!

Your athlete has trained hard to prepare for the season, but are they recovering hard to keep themselves quick, strong, and healthy during it? We’re really excited to offer recovery classes starting this fall for athletes ages 12 & up! 

Our goal is to provide an option for in-season athletes to come in and use our specialty recovery methods with step by step guidance from our experienced trainers. 

We’ll introduce recovery boots that help circulation and keep your athlete feeling fresh on the field throughout the season. Your athlete will wear the boots for 10-15 minutes each session to relieve minor muscle aches, increase circulation, simulate muscle massage, and decrease soreness. 

We will also work on foam rolling, mobility, and stretching to keep the athletes healthy. Foam rolling, or self-myofascial release, will be guided and help keep all large muscle groups from tightening up. Foam rolling, or self myofascial release, has so many fantasy benefits, including increased range of motion, released trigger points/knots, increased blood flow, and increased flexibility. 

We’ll do full body mobility work at the beginning of each class, and a full body stretch at the end.

Last, we’ll have a massage gun available for the coach/athlete to use if they have a specific problem area. The theragun has similar benefits as the other modalities above, but can be done specifically by the coach or the athlete if there is one target problem area.

All of these methods add up to an athlete who is less injury prone, moves better, and stays fresh throughout the season. Your child will be able to feel the difference this class makes on them!

Classes will be held at 7:00pm, perfect for after soccer or football practice. Classes are an hour long and have a maximum of 6 athletes per session, just like our regular classes. If you have questions, please contact us here!
